THE GAME OF TRUST

 

Ever had someone who broke your trust but left as if nothing changed? 

Not as unusual as before

In the path of life

The game of trust began and swung

Life to life 

Neither could I stop it 

nor ready to play

Peace of the inner child long lost

Nothing like the day of dawn

My way of conveying trust 

is absolute overall

And the trust between us,

Ineffable to one and all

Never thought one would shatter me 

and my trust

The game of trust weakens one to depths, 

and takes the mind to lengths. 

Yet never did I ever lose trail 

and came back to track

Soon came an end to this short game of trust

Yet another to come in the order of the endless mistrust.

It hurts. A new change in life always hurts. Something that a person intentionally or unintentionally does makes it hard for us to trust anyone else in our life. Every time we trust someone new, they end up reminding us why we shouldn't trust anyone at all. Trust - it's just a leap of faith. 

"Trust is not a simple thing. It can make you or break you."

"Love can be unconditional. But trust definitely cannot."

The only thing we must learn is to know before trusting. Know who to trust. Cause, after all, life is a bad game of trust.
